Registration and keys delivery
Usually we answer back with registration procedure in 24-48 business hours.
If you don't receive the registration information from us in this time frame, please search your spam (junk) mail folder for the letter from very-soft.com mail server.
If you ordered one of Verysoft software product from the online store that sends the license codes directly to the Customer and doesn't receive appropriate information or transaction failed, please contact the online store support team for assistance.
If the issue was not solved or you are not satisfied with the conclusion, please write a message to Verysoft Support Team e-mail to get assistance.
If you order a software product in one of the online store and miss the license code, want to recover the license code or get a refund, please apply to the Customer service of that shop.
Online activation of WebCamSplitter (since v1.4)
You can use an online activation for the WebCamSplitter since v1.4. The online activation bases on the old activation scheme: purchased license is attached to a defined computer. But now, there is no need to contact with our support to get the key. Instead, you just use activation code with attached license pool.
Changes in purchase procedure
There is no need to install the program and send us one on several Installation IDs now, if you want to purchase the WebCamSplitter. After successful payment you'll receive the activation code for purchased product, which you can enter in the application. Next time you purchase the same product and specify the same e-mail and registration name, on your activation code will be added correspondent number of licenses. If you specify other data during purchasing, you'll simply receive new activation code with correspondent license pool.
If you've purchased the product earlier
In this case, just contact with our support and tell that you want to start using new WebCamSplitter v1.4. We'll send you activation code with appropriate license pool.
Offline activation
If you have problems with the Internet connection or our activation server is not reachable, the offline activation is available. It is the same as activation scheme in old versions: the program forms an e-mail with necessary data for activation, and you just need to send it to the Verysoft support. Generally, you'll receive the feedback in same day.
Rejection in license keys
The license on WebCamSplitter is not limited in time, but is limited by computer where it can be used. License key is generated upon computer identifier (Menu -> Help -> About, alphanumeric code in brackets is Installation ID). Change of Installation ID is recognized as change of computer. Each change of computer and contact to our activation server with new Installation ID decreases number of license keys in your license pool attached to your activation code. Vice versa, if Installation ID is not changed, the activation server always sends back existing license key, which was generated earlier. In the EULA is said that you can perform change of equipment no more than twice a half of year, and receive new license key for FREE. If you break this rule, (e.g. number of computers under one activation code is more than number of license keys) the activation server will send 402 error code "Key generation limit reached". In this case, a new license key can be received for FREE only after half of year.
Registration and keys update procedures
All our PC software products use key generation scheme based on Installation ID. Before registration install the program on a computer, which you are going to use. The installation ID is reported to you by application through Help > Installation ID item. During purchase procedure you will be prompt to enter generated Installation ID. After purchase succeed you'll receive registration key and instructions through email.
Product keys update
The Installation ID depends on your computer's configuration (HDD factory number, etc.). Usually, if you re-install application or Windows (including HDD formatting) the Installation ID will not be changed. The installation ID will be changed if you switch PC or change first HDD. Sometimes Installation ID is different under administrator and limited user account. When the installation ID is changed, a new license key should be requested. Please note, that according to the End-User License Agreement (EULA) it is allowed to change license key for free not more than twice in a half of a year.
At the moment you can provide us new Installation ID and we'll send you new key via email, but the next versions of our products will use online activation (via internet).
Then you need to activate your copy in the following way:
1) Unzip attached license keys (*.KEY) files.
then EITHER:
2) Run the file (just double click)
3) Confirm adding information to Registry (select "Yes")
OR
2) Right mouse click on the program icon in your system tray, select "Help > Enter Registration Key..." item from menu
3) Select the KEY file and click Open.
then:
4) Restart program.
To make sure the copy is activated select main menu item Help->About. You should see the owner name here.
